Installatie Legacy Een tijdelijke interactieve zintuiglijke installatie van beeldend kunstenaar Yvonne Rooding. Een ritueel kunstproject met als uitgangspunt verlies door Corona. |
||||
The purpose of this installation is about processing loss, taking time, letting go and gratitude. This makes it a powerful ritual. The thought or intention with which the visitor enters the installation can be about various topics due to the influence of corona; a lost loved one that we lost due to the Corona or during the Corona time. You were not allowed to participate in the funeral service due to the permitted number of participants and would still like to give it a place. It can also be about the loss of a job or business. Money boxes that have been consumed by this. Loss of health. Loss of freedom. The choice lies with the visitor. Rituals are of social importance. These can be religious, ceremonial or personal. Rituals are often repeated at intervals. Many participants were excluded from these rituals due to the corona. This is clear at a funeral service, but this also includes remembering the weekly visit to your grandmother. The added value of the project is to provide the opportunity and pay attention to what has been lost due to corona. Where “sensation” and “making contact” are central and provide a refined depth. This art project takes shape and meaning because the participating people give it meaning and content. The importance of an intention. Setting a conscious intention can provide peace, create focus and let go little by little. You will receive this before you enter the spiral path. You determine your own pace. One person at a time may walk the spiral path. An experience that will be different for everyone. The visitors are given an intention. Setting a conscious intention can provide peace, create focus and let go little by little. |
